Integrating with PowerFAIDS

Standard Integrations

PowerFAIDS seamlessly integrates with various systems using our CSV file layouts and API. Below are some of the most popular higher education systems that offer built-in integration with PowerFAIDS:

  • Ellucian PowerCampus* (launching soon)

    • Note: For PowerCampus to properly process Anticipated Aid and Disbursement Authorization files, schools must ensure the following:

    • When setting up payment periods all scheduled disbursement dates must be unique per payment period.

    • When packaging awards, the same fund can't be used multiple times on a student in the same academic year. Schools should create multiple versions of a fund (e.g., fund A, fund B, etc.) if there is a use case to award the same fund multiple times.

Custom Integrations

To transfer data between other (non-partner) campus systems and PowerFAIDS, you should work closely with your Information Technology (IT) staff to build integrations:

  1. The anticipated aid, disbursement authorization, and disbursement reconciliation file layouts are used to transfer data from PowerFAIDS to other systems.

  2. The API  and the Student Information Import are used to transfer data from other systems to PowerFAIDS.
