Phase 4: Launch

The launch phase consists of steps to prepare for processing your first PowerFAIDS award year. Since PowerFAIDS setup typically starts before the new award year is available, many of these steps involve copying and updating the setup you've completed so far to the next award year. This phase will be completed alongside your dedicated migration specialist. You’ll be able to access resources and track your progress in the PowerFAIDS training center. The activities in this phase include:

  1. Perform New Year Setup
  2. Create student records
    • Migrate students from PowerFAIDS Desktop to PowerFAIDS Cloud
    • Import students using the Student Information Import or PowerFAIDS API
  3. Schedule and complete testing and validation with your migration specialist
  4. Complete the launch phase survey
