Reporting Module

Improved performance.

Custom Reports

Improved functionality when combining fields from different areas of the student record. Fields that were not returning data in custom reports are now populating with the value from the student record.

Award Analysis by Fund and Payment Period Reports

Logic updated for calculating the number of recipients.

FISAP Report

FISAP Reporting in PowerFAIDS now handles the July 31, 2025, guidance from the Department of Education for students with Maximum Pell Indicator of 2 or 3 who do not have FISAP Total Income reported on the ISIR. PowerFAIDS will calculate the FISAP Total Income following the Federal guidance for use in the FISAP Report:

  • Dependent Students (Formula A) will have a reported FISAP Total Income of Parent Total Income plus Student Total Income

  • Independent Students (Formula B) will have a reported FISAP Total Income of Student Total Income

Fixes

Student module

  • Academic Profile > Academic Years and Payment Periods: Can make changes to academic year and payment period in a single save.

  • Academic Profile > Academic Years and Payment Periods: After adding a new academic year, the page will display the latest academic year upon refresh.

  • Academic Profile > Cost of Attendance: Payment period totals calculate correctly.

  • Communications > Requirements: Requirements page is no longer becoming blank when navigating between pages.

  • Packaging > Aid Package > Federal Pell Grants: Professional judgements that result in an SAI between 6654 and 7396 with Met Poverty Guidelines field set to True are awarded a Pell Grant.

  • Packaging > Reconciliation: Update Required section of the Pell Grant tab is now updated appropriately after origination and disbursement to COD.

Import/Export module

  • Federal Award Processing (COD): Fields that are updated by COD processing actions are only populated for federal awards.

  • ISIR: When Find and Post Newly Qualified option is set to Yes, the posting process no longer interrupts and you do not need to add an Academic Year to view the ISIR pages on the student record.

Reporting module

  • Custom Reports: When using filters on a report, files that contain a value of 0 are displaying the value of 0

  • Custom Reports > COD data: Fields that are updated by COD processing actions are only populated for federal awards.

  • Custom Reports > Cost of Attendance data: Custom reports will run successfully when cost of attendance fields are included.

  • Custom Reports > Note data: Note fields with quotation marks (") display.

  • Custom Reports > If a student has more than one award from the same fund with the same award amount, the data displays correctly in a custom report.

  • Standard Reports > FISAP Report: This report is complete and returns valid data.

  • Standard Reports > GE/FVT Report: This report is complete and returns valid data.

System Administration module

  • Campus Information > Academic Years: Academic Years can now be viewed or edited in System Administration when PII masking is enabled.

Known Issues

Reporting module

Impacted Functionality Description Resolution
Custom Reports When generating a report immediately after applying filters, the report is not generated and a red toast is displayed. Wait a couple of minutes between saving changes to the report filters and generating the report.
Custom Reports If a field has Display in Results set to No and Export/Download is selected in the Preview table, the field is displayed in the file downloaded. Generate the file.
Custom Reports For large data sets (many students and/or many columns), the Preview table never populates. Generate the file - will contain all students and all data points.
Custom Reports When certain combinations of fields are included in a report, there may be an extra blank row per student in the report. Use report filters to specify the AcademicYear.AwardYear and/or to specify certain field(s) should not be blank if you know every student will have that field populated (e.g. a custom data field).
