V4/V5 Verification Results Report

This report includes a list of all students in your selected population with a Verification Tracking Flag of V4 (Custom Verification Group) or V5 (Aggregate Verification Group). The report includes the student’s Social Security number, last name, and verification results. This report is generated as a .CSV file and will need to be converted to a fixed format file for upload to the FAA Access to CPS Online website.

To generate a V4/V5 Verification Results report, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to Standard Reports within Reporting.

1. Select Reporting in the top navigation bar to open the Reporting menu along the left side of the page.
2. Select Standard Reports.

1. Select V4/V5 Verification Results from the Standard Reports list and specify the time frame and student population to include in the report.

1. From the Standard Reports list, select V4/V5 Verification Results.
2. Choose the federal award year from which you want to pull data from the Award Year list.
3. Choose the population of students you want to include in the report from the Selection Set list.

1. Generate the report.

1. Select Generate Report. A green success message appears in the top right to let you know the report is being generated and a second green message will appear once the file is generated successfully.

1. Navigate to File Manager within Import/Export.

1. Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
2. Select File Manager.

1. Download the report to your device.

1. In the File Manager, navigate to Exports > Reporting > Standard Reports.
   
2. Select the report you want to download.

   Tip: To download multiple documents, you can multi-select files by using your keyboard. If you wish to select multiple files that are listed next to one another, press and hold shift and select the first and last file from the list. If you wish to select multiple files not listed beside one another, press and hold Ctrl and select your desired files.

3. Select the Download icon.

   Note: Once you've selected to download the file, it can be located on your device in the Downloads folder, or another file location depending on your browser settings.

1. If uploading to the FAA Access to CPS Online website, convert the report to a fixed format file.

1. Open the .CSV file you downloaded and re-save it as Unicode Text (.txt).
2. Open the newly created text file and remove the first row that states the report name.
3. The file can now be uploaded to the FAA Access to CPS Online website.
