Importing ISIR Files

To import and post ISIRs, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the ISIR option in the left navigation menu and select Import.
  1. Select Import ISIRs in the ISIR Import header.
  2. Select the Award Year that is associated with the ISIR file being imported.

    Caution: The award year chosen in the dashboard does not carry over into the Import Window, so be sure to select an award year.

  1. Select the Upload upload button icon and navigate to the local copies of the appropriate ISIR files to select them for upload. A message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page indicating that the file upload has started. When the process completes the files will become available to select.
  2. Select the files to process and select Next. If one or more of the files are not in the appropriate format for the selected award year, a message is displayed below the file manager and the Next button is unavailable until a valid file is selected.

    Tip: While you can only upload a single file at a time, you can multi-select files to process by using your keyboard. If you wish to select multiple files that are listed next to one another, hold shift and select the first and last file from the list. If you wish to select multiple files not listed beside one another, hold the control key and select your desired files.

The default selections shown on this page are taken directly from your school's global posting options. See theGlobal Posting Options help article to learn more about these options.

Tip: Any changes made to the import or posting options during the import process will only be applied to the currently selected files and will not update the global posting options.

Select Import after reviewing and optionally updating the associated import and posting options. The ISIR import window is closed and a message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page indicating that the ISIR import process has started. A separate message is displayed once the ISIR import process has finished. Once this message appears the associated result report is available to review.
