ISIR Global Posting Options

Before importing and posting ISIRs for the first time, be sure to review and configure the global posting options. The global posting options are award year specific and apply to all users. Setting the global posting options based on your schools processing preferences prevents users from having to set these options manually in the ISIR import process each time, though they will still have the option to do so if a setting needs to be changed for a particular file.

To configure the global posting options, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the ISIR option in the left navigation menu and select Import.
  1. Select an Award Year in the ISIR Import header.
  2. Select Global Posting Options in the ISIR Import header.
  3. Configure the Global Posting Options based on school preferences.

    Tip: Use the field level help included in the PowerFAIDS user interface for fields you are unsure about by selecting the info help-text icon icon next to the field in question.

  4. After configuring according to your preferences, select Save.
