ISIR Global Posting Options
Before importing and posting ISIRs for the first time, be sure to review and configure the global posting options. The global posting options are award year specific and apply to all users. Setting the global posting options based on your schools processing preferences prevents users from having to set these options manually in the ISIR import process each time, though they will still have the option to do so if a setting needs to be changed for a particular file.
To configure the global posting options, complete the following steps:

Navigate to ISIR Import within Import/Export.
- Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
- Expand the ISIR option in the left navigation menu and select Import.

Configure the Global Posting Options.
- Select an Award Year in the ISIR Import header.
- Select Global Posting Options in the ISIR Import header.
- Configure the Global Posting Options based on school preferences.
Questions to consider when determining your preferred settings:
- Posting Type: When you import ISIRs, do you want to both create and update records or only update existing records?
- Requirement Status: When you import an incomplete ISIR, do you want the status of the associated requirement set to Incomplete?
- Existing Name: When you import ISIRs, do you want to update the names of existing students?
- Find & Post Newly Qualified: When you import ISIRs, do you want to scan the ISIR Import dashboard and post any previously imported ISIRs that can now be posted?
- Post Only Newer: When you import ISIRs, do you only want to post those that have a higher transaction number than what is already posted to the student record?
- After configuring according to your preferences, select Save.
