Creating a Custom Process Target

To create a custom process target, complete the following steps:

  1. Select System Administration in the top navigation bar to open the System Administration menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Tools options in the left navigation menu and select Custom Process Targets.
  1. Select the + icon in the Custom Process Targets header to open the Create Custom Process Target window.
  2. Enter the name the custom process target will be known as within the application in the Name field.
  3. Enter a description of the custom process in the Description field.
  4. Specify whether you want the custom process target to be active by adjusting the Active toggle as needed.
  1. Select + Add New at the bottom left of the table.
  2. Choose the custom process you want to run in the Custom Process field.
  3. Choose the custom data field in which you want to store the results from the Destination Field Alias list.
  4. Save your new rule by selecting the green check mark .
  5. Repeat the above steps as needed for multiple rules.

Select Save.

A success message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page letting you know the custom process target has been created.

Note: Once your custom process target is created, it must be added to the Custom Process Targets section of the academic years or payment periods in which you want to include the data point on student records.
