Copying a Communication Template

Copying an existing communication template can be an efficient way to create a new template with minor changes. To create a copy of a communication template, complete the following steps:

  1. Select System Administration in the top navigation bar to open the System Administration menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Communications options in the left navigation menu and select Communication Templates.
  1. From the Communication Templates list, select the communication template you want to copy.
  2. From the Tools menu in the upper right of the Communication Templates header, select Create Copy.
  1. The Name field will default to “Copy of <name of communication template being copied>”. If you want to update this name, you can delete the default value and replace it with the desired name.
  2. Select Create. A success message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page letting you know the communication template has been created.

Once created, you'll see the communication template in the Communication Templates list. Select it from the list to make any necessary edits to the parameters you previously set in the copied communication template.
