Private Loans Global Export Options

Before exporting private loans for the first time, be sure to review and configure Global Export Options. Global Export Options apply to all users. Setting the Global Export Options based on your schools processing preferences prevents users from having to set these options manually in the Private Loans Export process each time, though they will still have the option to do so if a setting needs to be changed for a particular file.

To configure the global export options, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Private Loans option in the left navigation menu and select Export.
  3. Select Global Export Options in the Private Loans Export header.

  2. Configure the Global Export Options based on school preferences.

    Tip: Use the field level help included in the PowerFAIDS user interface for fields you are unsure about by selecting the info help-text icon icon next to the field in question.

  3. After configuring according to your preferences, select Save.
