Archiving a File
Archiving your files is an easy way to keep your File Manager organized. Within each folder, you'll find an Archived folder for any files that you have archived. To archive files, complete the following steps:
Navigate to the Imports or Exports folder to select and archive your files.
- Select Imports or Exports and open the appropriate folder based on the file you want to archive.
- Select the specific files you want to archive.
Tip: To archive multiple documents, you can multi-select files by using your keyboard. If you wish to select multiple files that are listed next to one another, press and hold shift and select the first and last file from the list. If you wish to select multiple files not listed beside one another, press and hold Ctrl and select your desired files.
- Select the Archive icon or open the context menu by right clicking or using the keyboard shortcut Shift + Ctrl + → and select the option to archive. The files are then moved into the associated Archived folder.
Tip: Once you've archived a file, you can download the file from the Archived folder, and then you can upload the file back to the main folder. However, you cannot simply move the file back to the main folder.
Caution: Images inserted in this way are displayed through a link rather than directly embedded. If you archive an image used in a communication template, previously sent emails will no longer be able to display the archived image.
