Copying a Fund

To create a copy of a fund, complete the following steps:

  1. Select System Administration in the top navigation bar to open the System Administration menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Packaging options in the left navigation menu and select Funds.
  1. From the Funds list, select the fund you want to copy.
  2. From the Tools menu in the upper right of the Funds header, select Create Copy.
  1. The Name field will default to “Copy of <name of fund being copied>”. If you want to update this name, you can delete the default value and replace it with the desired name.
  2. Select Create. A success message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page letting you know the fund has been created.

Once created, you'll see the fund in the Funds list. Select it from the list to make any necessary edits to the parameters you previously set in the copied fund.

Note: The following fields cannot be edited once a fund is created or in the fund copy process: Donor, Government ID, Type, Sub-type, and Packaging Behavior.
