Exporting ISIR Correction Files

The ISIR Corrections Export page is used to generate ISIR correction files.

Before exporting ISIR corrections for the first time, you’ll need to create and save a selection set that identifies the eligible population. The following example selection set identifies all students with an ISIR Release Status of Released in a given award year.

An example selection set with an associated award year: ISIRCalculated.AwardYear=2023-2024 and ISIRCalculated.ReleaseStatus=Released

To export ISIR corrections, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Import/Export in the top navigation bar to open the Import/Export menu along the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the ISIR option in the left navigation menu and select Correction Export.
  1. Select Export Files in the ISIR Correction Export header.
  2. Select the Award Year that is associated with the ISIR file being exported.

    Caution: The award year chosen in the dashboard does not carry over into the Import Window, so be sure to select an award year.

  1. Select the selection set that identifies the students to be evaluated for an ISIR correction.
  2. Optionally, select Preview to view the students included in the population.
  3. Select Next.
  1. Set Run in Simulation Mode to Yes.
  2. Select Simulate.
  3. A message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page indicating that the process has started. A separate message is displayed once the process has finished. Once this message is displayed, the results report is available to review. When running in simulation mode, no file is generated except the results report. See ISIR Correction Results Reports for information on reviewing the results.
  1. In order to generate a file, leave Run in Simulation Mode set to No.
  2. Before exporting, take note of the file name and destination displayed, then select Export.
  3. The ISIR Correct Export modal is closed and a message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page indicating that the process has started. A separate message is displayed once the process has finished. Once this message is displayed, the results report is available to review. See ISIR Correction Results Reports for information on reviewing the results.
  1. In the Import/Export module, select File Manager from the left navigation menu.
  2. Using the file manager, navigate to the Exports > ISIR Corrections folder.
  3. Select the file created in prior step and select the Download download icon icon.
  4. Transmit the downloaded ISIR correction files to CPS.
