Updating the Password for an API User

To update the password for an API user account, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to API Users within System Administration.

1. Select System Administration in the top navigation bar to open the System Administration menu along the left side of the page.
2. Expand the Security options in the left navigation menu and select API Users.

1. Select Change Password from the Actions list to update the password associated with the API user account.

1. Select the More Actions menu in the Actions column of the table.

   

2. Select Change Password from the list.
3. From the Change Password window, enter a new password that fulfills the requirements listed below the fields.

   Tip: This password will need to be updated every ninety days. You will receive a reminder on the eightieth day to reset your password.

1. Select Update.

A success message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page letting you know the user has been updated.
