System Administration Data Setup

To ensure an accurate report, various fields on the System Administration > Packaging > Funds must be populated or reviewed prior to running the Common Data Set Report.

Field

Note

Include as Need-Based in Reporting Indicates whether the fund should be categorized as need-based in reports
Include in CDS Indicates whether the fund should be included in Common Data Set (CDS) reporting
CDS Reporting Sequence This is the value that determines the fund order when calculating the amounts allocated to need-based and non-need-based aid.

Various fields on student record need to be populated or reviewed prior to running the Common Data Set Report.

Common Data Set Report

This process generates the financial aid section of the Common Data Set Report.

  1. Navigate to Reporting > Standard Reports > Common Data Set (CDS) and generate the report.

  2. Navigate to Import/Export > File Manager, open the Exports > Reporting > Standard Reports folder and download the Common Data Set Report file.
