This is the type of term structure used by the academic year.
The following options are available:

| Semester | Academic year structure consisting of two terms, each between 14-21 weeks in length. |
| Trimester | Academic year structure consisting of three terms, each between 14-21 weeks in length. |
| Quarter | Academic year structure consisting of four terms, each between 9-13 weeks in length. |
