Copying a Student Portal Awards Page

Copying an existing award page can be an efficient way to create a new one with minor changes. To create a copy of an awards page, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Student Portal in the top navigation bar to open the Student Portal administration module in a separate browser tab.
  2. Select Awards Page in the left navigation menu.
  1. From the Awards Page list, select the awards page you want to copy.
  2. From the More Actions menu in the upper right of the Awards Page header, select Create Copy.
  1. The Name field will default to “Copy of <name of Awards Page being copied>”. If you want to update this name, you can delete the default value and replace it with the desired name.
  2. From the Associated Academic Year list, select the appropriate academic year to associate with this Awards Page. Once saved, this value can no longer be updated.

    Tip: You can only use one awards page per academic year, so if you want to add more to the awards page for a specific year, you'll need to edit the existing page rather than creating a new one for the same year.

A success message is displayed in the upper right portion of the page letting you know the awards page has been created.

Once created, you'll see the awards page in the Awards Page list. Select it from the list to make any necessary edits to the parameters you previously set in the copied awards page.
